The Butterfly is an original acrylic painting on 190gm paper. In the picture I have put a thick texture of really vibrant colors on an acrylic-washed background. The picture is kept together in a kind of "abstract" mood, but... You can see!

When I did the painting And I took a look at that I realized I can see it as a kind on melancholy allegory. Anyway it was not my idea when I started to paint the picture. It was just what emerged from my mind and my hand. I like this kind of progressive work:)
